Knee Guards for Figure Skaters
For all figure skaters
Thin & Flexible silicone padding
Protection where it counts
Sold as a pair, one for each knee
Edge Gel Knee Guards are slim, flexible knee protection for figure skaters, featuring gel impact absorption, a silicone grip that keeps them in place, and a low profile slim enough to wear under tights.
The impact absorbing gel protects the knee during slides, low choreography, and repeated ice contact while keeping a low profile. A soft compression fabric supports the knee without restricting movement, and the silicone grip at the top keeps them in place during training. Suitable for long sessions, choreography, and safe exploration of movements on the ice.

Why skaters protect their knees
Figure skating includes more slides, transitions, and low movement than ever before. Repeated contact with the ice puts stress on the knee that builds up over time. Protection helps skaters train consistently without pain.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, especially if your knees touch the ice during slides, choreography, or even unexpected falls. Many skaters develop inflammation or pressure-related joint damage over time from repeated contact with the ice. This knee guard helps prevent long-term knee injuries before they start. It’s better to protect early than to recover later.
Edge Knee Guards was tested by skaters. It protects the full knee using contoured silicone zones, stays in place while you skate, and feels nearly invisible. It’s designed for the way skaters bend, slide, and train.
Yes, it’s designed for both skin and fabric contact. Worn under tights, it’s barely visible. But we recommend wearing it over your leggings or skating gear to also protect your clothing. Ice contains chemicals that can discolor or continuous friction can tear fabric, so this knee sleeve helps preserve both your knees and your clothes.
Yes. The top hem features a nonslip grip and a slightly longer upper fit to hold onto your upper thigh. This keeps the knee guards in place when bending or jumping, without rolling or slipping. It’s ultra-light and moves with you.
Slide the sleeve over your foot and pull it up until the padding (silicone) centers over your kneecap. The nonslip grip should hug the upper thigh for a secure hold. It should feel snug, not restrictive.
Soft silicone is the best choice. Hard pads restrict movement, feel bulky, and break the clean leg line. Foam pads can’t offer the same protection at this thinness. Silicone allows for better flexibility, absorbs impact without needing extra bulk, and is much easier to clean.
